End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Aritro Biswas for the Work Assistant desktop application, including its bundled components such as the activity watcher (the "Software").

License grant

Subject to this EULA, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control.

Restrictions

• You may not redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Software.
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
• You may not remove proprietary notices from the Software.

Activity monitoring

The Software includes an optional activity-monitoring component that is disabled until you provide explicit in-app consent. By enabling it, you confirm you are authorized to monitor activity on the device in question.

Updates

The Software may download and install updates automatically to keep you on a secure, supported version. This EULA governs those updates unless an update is accompanied by a separate agreement.

Open-source components

The Software is built with and incorporates open-source components, each licensed under its own terms, which continue to apply. These include, among others, Tauri, React, and the Rust and Python components of the bundled activity watcher. A full list of components and their licenses is available on request and, where a component's license requires it, is included with the application.

Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software.

Disclaimer & liability

The Software is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability as described in our Terms of Service.
