Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Aritro Biswas ("we", "us"), and govern your access to and use of the Work Assistant application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Service

You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for your account and for any activity that occurs under it.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse, disrupt, or attempt to break the Service.
• Don't use the Service to violate the rights of others or the law.
• Don't reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law or the license that ships with the application.

Your content

You retain ownership of the tasks, goals, and other content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you.

Third-party services

The Service can connect to third-party model providers you configure. Your use of those providers is subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Plans and payment

Work Assistant is offered as a subscription with a 1-month free trial. During the trial you have full access at no charge. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription then begins automatically and your payment method is charged the then-current price ($9 per month). We disclose these terms, including the date your trial ends, before you start the trial, and we remind you before the first charge is taken.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, billing, and related customer-service enquiries.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, at the then-current price, until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. It is a productivity aid and not professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Work Assistant and its author will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you and Aritro Biswas submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
