Monitoring you can trust
Most productivity trackers watch first and ask never. Unwaver does the opposite — and here's exactly how.
Off until you say yes
Activity capture does nothing until you accept a clear disclosure. Install the app, use the voice and task features, and never turn monitoring on — that's a perfectly normal way to use it.
Consent that re-asks itself
The disclosure is versioned. If we ever change what's captured, or which service processes it, the version bumps and you're asked to review and accept again.
Your data, on demand
Export your tasks, goals, conversations, nudges and activity whenever you want, or delete them, or your whole account, from inside the app. It's your record of your own work — you should be able to take it with you.
Never sold
Nothing the app holds about you is sold or used for advertising. The services that process it on our behalf are named in the Privacy Policy.
The watcher runs on your machine
The activity watcher is a small local process bundled with the app. It looks only at your active window, and a radar in the top bar shows whenever it's watching. Pause it or switch it off from there.
No screenshots, no keystrokes
Every 30 seconds the watcher notes your active window's title and program name, how long since you last typed or moved the mouse (the timing, never what you typed), and whether the screen is locked. It never captures screen contents, keystrokes, clipboard or files.

Why
So the nudge engine can compare where your attention goes against the task you've marked In Progress, and speak up when they diverge.
Who touches it
Named explicitly — the app, the Unwaver server, and the AI service behind it: OpenAI. If that list ever changes, the disclosure version bumps and you're asked again.
